This is one of the oldest finishes. The whole production process is manual and it gives the stone an appearance that is highly valued in the reconstruction of old architectural elements. The blocks are split using steel wedges; only bumps that negatively affect the required appearance are filed down with a steel chisel. The end appearance is one of granite in its pure state.
